As a long-time, renewable energy professional, Robert’s capabilities add great depth to Empower’s pipeline of large commercial and community solar projects. Matt adds significant renewable transactional experience to the Empower in-house legal team. With many years of transaction experience as senior in-house counsel and outside counsel in a project finance group, Matt’s strengths will shore up Empower’s transaction acumen.
“Adding the outstanding skills and experience of Carol, Robert, and Matt to the Empower team comes at an exciting time when many of our Fortune 500 clients and channel partners are looking to ramp up their renewable commitments and projects following the pause in 2020 caused by COVID 19”, said John Clapp, CEO, Empower Energies. “We’re thrilled to welcome Carol, Robert and Matt to our team,” said Pam Maines, Sr. Vice President Business Development. “Each brings an element of fulfilling our vision to empower leading businesses and communities in driving America’s shift to a modern economy powered by affordable and reliable renewable energy.”
