Rob Edwards, a leading clean energy industry legal executive, brings more than 24 years of diverse leadership and advisory experience in the legal, finance and government sectors.
Rob has negotiated over $15 billion worth of transactions covering the full range of project and financing agreements for all ranges of energy industry participants, including those in the renewable energy and clean technologies sectors. Rob is a recognized thought leader who brings together public and private stakeholders to develop, structure, and implement national and global clean energy project finance and M&A transactions, advancing the transformation to a decentralized, decarbonized, and resilient grid.
As SVP & Chief Legal Officer, Rob will lead the legal department in support of Empower’s expanding clean energy businesses. Rob will be actively involved with Empower’s growing C&I renewable energy portfolio customers, expanding Empower’s product offerings and establishing Empower’s strategic partnerships across various distributed generation technologies and services.
